On the Court

  • Be Cool: Treat fellow players and board members with respect. A little kindness goes a long way.
  • Play Fair: Call lines honestly and respect your opponent’s calls. It’s OK to question a call, but accept it if they stand by it and move on. Do not argue.
  • Share the Space: Get to your assigned court on time, don’t keep players waiting during changeovers, and wrap up when time is called.

Sportsmanship

  • Good Vibes Only: Win or lose, keep it classy. No tantrums, racket throwing, or arguing about calls.
  • Acknowledge & Appreciate: A quick handshake, fist bump, or “Good game” at the end of a match is always a nice touch.
  • Friendly Celebrations: A great point is worth celebrating—but no excessive showboating, please!

Club Rules

  • Dress for Success: Tennis attire and proper shoes required.
  • Bring Guests Responsibly: If you’re inviting a guest, make sure they know the etiquette too.
  • Respect the Equipment: Treat the courts, nets, and club facilities with care.

What Happens If You Break the Rules?

We’re all here to have fun. However, repeated transgressions may result in a verbal warning, suspension, or revocation of membership. Let’s all work together to make TCSA a great place to play!
